As the Church in sorrow recalls on this Feast of the Holy innocents the slaughter of so many children for the political ego of Herod, we might consider how a person could use the taking of human life as a platform for clinging to political ambition. May God turn the hearts of those politicians who use support and funding for abortion as a blood-soaked tool for their own ambition and ego. May God open the eyes of those who vote for them aware of their agenda.
