This evening at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton parish we held the last of three joint meetings of the Planning Committee and the Pastoral Council. We decided on a team (architect and contractor) to help us prepare a Master Plan for our parish facilities. This followed many meetings of the Planning Committee last Fall, leading to a draft Strategic Plan for parish ministries and programs. The Strategic Plan will be discussed by the Pastoral Council next week, and will be the framework for pastoral planning in the parish. It will also be the basis for deciding what we'd like to see in our parish facilities in the future, in order to support our many ministries and programs. Pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit as next we work with the designers to prepare a Master Plan and concepts for updating our buildings to meet the needs of a spiritual and prayerful community of faith, a growing and dynamic parish.
