Tonight
was the first meeting of the Newman Club at Messiah College for this
academic year: what a great group of students! We heard from Father
Anthony Dill, a graduate of Messiah College and the newest priest of the
Diocese of Harrisburg,
who used the Old
Testament book of Job as a springboard for inviting the students to
allow the Holy Spirit to challenge them. Next events: breakfast after
the 9 AM Mass this Sunday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton parish, and an
invitation to join the parish in prayer on Monday evening for
Eucharistic Devotions and to hear Christopher West. Deacon David Hall or
I (or both, and sometimes our youth director Mike Creavey) will be on
campus (top floor of the Union) for lunch every Tuesday approximately
11:30 to 1:15. Students and faculty, stop by and say hello and join us
for lunch.
