Yesterday's
March for Life brought over a half million peaceful marchers into our
nation's capital. The March for Life has been going on for four decades.
What other human rights movement of that proportion would be so roundly
ignored by the secular media? The few
brief mentions grudgingly noted that "a few thousand" people gathered.
I've been accused of focusing too much on this one issue. Let's unpack
that: since January 22, 1973 I have 55 million issues to think about
morally and on election day. Every human life is precious – in the
womb, in a classroom, in a prison cell, in a wheelchair, on the
deathbed. And may we never, ever, forget that the confused and
frightened woman walking up the sidewalk to the abortuary is, above all,
still a precious child of God.
